Estimates from your drawings

Panorama's takeoffs, purchase orders, stud and sheathing maps, cut lists and 3D framing models are prepared from the drawings, specifications and prices the builder gives us. They are only as accurate as those inputs. If the drawings change, the takeoff has to be re-run.

Not engineering or code review

Our code and drawing flags help catch problems early. They are not an engineering review, a code-compliance check or a substitute for the designer or engineer of record, building permits or inspections. Structural members, connections and anything an engineer specifies follow the engineer's drawings.

Check before you order

The builder checks quantities, sizes, grades and specifications before ordering or building. The lumber yard confirms availability, lengths and prices.

Savings figures on this site

The savings and comparison figures on this site come from one anonymized 2-storey plan. Panorama's takeoff was compared with an experienced estimator's manual takeoff and priced at that builder's supplier at the time. They are examples, not a promise. Your savings depend on your plans, standards, supplier and prices.

When we get it wrong

If a quantity is wrong because of our error, we correct it at no charge. What else we cover is set out in the client agreement.
